Cast Aside: Discarding the Domestic and the Everyday

Cast Aside: discarding the domestic and the everyday, is a group exhibition that showcased the work of artists, whose works in clay, glass and textiles confront and question their relationship to domesticity and function.
Taking place in Geneva, at the same time as the 2022 International Academy of Ceramics and the Parcours Céramique Carougeois, the exhibition explored the work of artists who, while entering into a dialogue with function and the domestic sphere, have chosen to disrupt and subvert it, thus allowing new expressive possibilities to emerge.
