Taste Contemporary is pleased to present a two-person exhibition featuring the work of German artist Ernst Gamperl and Japanese artist Shunshun.

Internationally recognised for his sculptural work, and renowned for his extraordinary expertise in working with wood, Ernst Gamperl recently marked forty years of studio practice with a major retrospective – The Tree of Life – that opened at the Bavarian National Museum in Munich, before travelling to the Museum für Kunst & Gewerbe, Hamburg. This exhibition places the work of this acclaimed artist in dialogue with the delicate and contemplative line drawings created by Shunshun, a young artist whose emerging practice offers a fresh and thoughtful perspective. Together, their works open a conversation across generations, material, and form.
